What's on my workbench?

With only 4 weeks till the Melbourne Show
I have spent some of the weekend cleaning the house,
spending time in the yard with my husband Ray..
I think sometimes we get so caught up in our own things
we don't spend any time together, with our puppy Boof.
I wonder if other artists feel this way?

Here is how my work tray is looking..

While its coming along, I really need to get my skates on..

Bears that Care 2012 online show

Bears that Care raise fund for Ovarian Cancer
through selling donated bears created by wonderful artists.
This year to offer more exposure for the artists,
the show will be held online, allowing everyone to attend
and adopt a bear. 100% of the money will go to research
finding new test for the earlier detection of ovarian cancer.

Here is why - Did you know?
If found early, ovarian cancer is essentially curable.
If found late 80% of women will not survive 5 years
This is NO screening test available for the
early detection of ovarian cancer.

Here is what you can do:
or talk about this show on and off line.

How will you help us?

I have created a website for Bears that Care
using my new Easy ArtSpace Builder
The site will have many new artists added
who have already signed up to help us.

Please visit the new Bears That Care website
Donate a bear or be reminded of the show!

Whats on my workbench

A custom request is cut and waiting to be sewn.

I like to have several bears on the go at once.
I can have a few bears cut and I create them all.
Working like this allows me to sew,
say after a long day at the office and a late night.
Or work on a face - this is only done when
wide awake and feeling creative.
Having lots of options allows me
work on the sections of the bears that suit.
